4. An increase or change in business travel.

Perhaps your man has to travel for work or to attend seminars or client meetings. But is the frequency of the travel increased? And is he flying to cities where he didn’t fly before?

Some men will purposely LOOK online for women to meet in the city where their meeting, seminar or conference is going to take place. If this is the case with your man, you may see an increase in his online activity for days or weeks before his trip, especially an increase in the amount of time he spends on his Yahoo or Hotmail (or other free) account.

Most men will not do this and use their work email for correspondence. They don’t give out their phone number, either. They will most likely call the woman from their workplace or cellphone—while running “errands” in the evenings—to set up the details of their rendeavous.

5. He has a long-distance calling card for no good reason that you can think of.

Check his wallet. Is there a prepaid calling card in there? Why would he have one of those if he has a cellphone or a long distance plan at home?

The reason: he wants to make calls to his lover without you being able to track it. If he calls using a calling card, a) the woman can’t tell with caller ID where he is calling from and b) it never shows up on his home phone account or work account, because he calls an 800 number.

Ask him about this card and see what he says. Don’t be surprised if he has some lame-ass answer, like, “I can’t always get good cellphone reception on business trips and I need to use the hotel phone.”

He might say that, or he may not have a good answer and may get defensive. Men rarely think AHEAD to come up with a believable excuse for their suspicious behavior.

6. He’s looking spiffy lately.

Ok, this one is sort of obvious. He’s buying new clothes for no particular reason. He’s upgrading his underwear and socks. He’s getting his haircut on a more regular basis instead of you nagging at him to get his haircut already, he’s starting to look like a bum! He’s working out more, is dieting but not telling you he’s dieting, but he’s definitely getting tone.

He’s using gel in his hair all of a sudden. He just bought some new sunglasses. He finally gave up that coat with the tear in it and got himself something really sharp.

Pay special attention to purchases made directly before a business trip. That’s when the man will want to get that special “seduction” shirt to wear on his “date” with the other woman.
